Asda Price Guarantee Our Resuts

On the 14th July 2012 we decided to shop at Asda as opposed to our usual Tesco Store and we spent a total of £57.04. At Asda they give a price guarantee that if they are not 10% cheaper than the competitors they will give you a voucher for the difference.

After having done your shopping you have to wait at least three hours before entering some details off of your receipt and they automatically compare the prices with Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrison and Waitrose stores.

At Sainsbury's there is a few items that where cheaper than Asda, but the biggest price difference was in the Tuna which is more than twice the price and makes the biggest difference to the comparison.

We decided to go to Asda as they are advertising quite heavily how good their prices are so we decided to give them a go for comparison. Their store is a lot bigger in comparison to the Tesco we usually use which we don't like as it takes a lot longer to do a shop, and their checkouts aren't as quick to get through.
